The 2023 Campaign is open and accepting participants through May 2023! Sign up now for a solar site assessment with vetted installers Renewable Energy Systems and Arctic Solar Ventures and learn about the perks of going solar.
Since 2020, Solarize has supported the installation of almost 900 kilowatts of solar energy on 160 homes and businesses in ذكذكتسئµ and the Denali Borough. This year the opportunity is open to all ذكذكتسئµ North Star Borough residents, businesses, and organizations. All are eligible for a 30 % federal tax credit (or direct pay for tax exempt organizations) as well as to receive technical and financial resources that are made available by the Solarize Core Team. Small businesses in ذكذكتسئµ are also able to apply for a separate U.S. Department of Agriculture grant that, if awarded, reimburses up to 50 % of the solar equipment and installation cost.
Each of the Solarize ذكذكتسئµ vetted installers have pledged to donate 5 % of the total kilowatt capacity they install through the 2023 Solarize ذكذكتسئµ Campaign to organizations or households selected by Solarize ذكذكتسئµ 2023 participants.
