Babula Children's Garden

The Babula Children’s garden is an outdoor classroom for informal science education for the entire family and specifically programs related to the management of Alaska’s farms, farmlands and gardens. Our goal is to educate all visitors, especially K-12 students, in the management of Alaska’s land resources, specifically those related to farms, farmlands and gardens and how related disciplines such as wildlife management, forest sciences, soil sciences and the social sciences especially art, literature, and music combine to create a rich legacy for Alaskans to conserve and enjoy.

The Children's Garden is made possible by the generous support of Walt and Marita Babula.
