Five Alaska-based companies are participating in a statewide startup accelerator program, program through national venture capital firm

They are: (Anchorage), (Wasilla), (Anchorage), (Anchorage), and (Kenai).

gBETA Alaska, a free program of the gold-rated startup accelerator and venture capital company gener8tor, is a seven-week mentorship-driven accelerator program designed to set a path for startups to scale and pursue investment opportunities.  The program is made possible by a partnership with the Center for Innovation, the ÐßÐßÊÓÆµâ€™ Innovation Hub. The Center for Innovation provides an extensive range of programs that provide funding, training and expertise designed to support and scale the commercialization of research into real world solutions.

Showcase event

At the end of the gBETA Alaska program, the startup founders will pitch their companies to investors, community partners and the public at a showcase event at 5:00 p.m. on April 21 at the Wood Center, University Alaska ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ, 1731 S. Chandalar, ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ, AK.
