Outstanding Student of the Year
Every year, the College of Liberal Arts asks each department to select its outstanding student(s) for that year- students who possess the passion and creativity for new discoveries and scholarship, students who demonstrate independence of thought and action in the pursuit of knowledge, and students who exemplify excellence.

I've been able to use everything I've learned here academically in my professional life, and I can attest to the fact that one day I will be using all these skills — liberal arts skills, if you will — in my business world and my business degree. It's a good crossover that I don't think I would have had if I was just in the business school. I've acquired some really transferable skills that would apply to my life and I can take anywhere with me.â€
