ACEP podcast producer selected for mentorship program

“Closing the Gap” producer Jennifer Pemberton was selected for the 2026 New Voices AMPLIFY Creators program.

䷡’s Jennifer Pemberton, producer of the energy podcast "Closing the Gap with Gwen Holdmann," was selected for the  program by the .

AMPLIFY is a competitive marketing accelerator for independent podcasts, helping creators move from producing strong work to ensuring that work is heard.

Through the program, Pemberton will receive mentorship and peer support for two months, learning how to use data, shape her story, build audience momentum and develop a plan for the podcast’s long-term growth.

"Closing the Gap" has run two seasons, putting out more than 20 episodes highlighting stories of energy resilience and innovation in some of the most challenging places on Earth.

"These are stories very few people are telling, but we’re learning that it’s not enough to just tell them or even to tell them well," Pemberton explained. "A podcast has to operate like a business and there are tools of the trade that I’m excited to learn."

"This program will help match the show to the audience it deserves so that the inspiration from these communities can spread far and wide," she added.
