  • Use the restroom and finish any food before entering the exam room.
  • If you have testing accommodations, please ensure they are approved and updated for the current semester. For questions about accommodations, you can contact Disability Services.

Checking In

  • Present a photo ID.
  • Store personal items in a locker. Space is limited—please bring only essential items.
  • Silence or turn off your cellphone!
  • You will be directed where to sit in the exam room. Staff will assign seating for computer-based exams as needed.

Late Policy

There is a 15-minute grace period. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you will be required to reschedule due to availability and space limitations.

Rules and Procedures

  • We support students by providing a quiet space to take their proctored exams.

  • Only students taking an exam are allowed in the Exam Room. Children must not be left unattended in or near the Testing Services area.

  • We do not allow cell phones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, fitbits, or any personal electronic devices while a student takes an exam.

  • Students are responsible for tracking their own exam time. Testing Services records the time used if a limit is set, but students will not be warned if they exceed it.

  • Use of personal pencils, pens, and calculators is permitted upon staff approval; supplies are available if needed.

  • Students should limit bringing additional belongings to the exam center as our available lockers are small.

  • Food is not allowed inside the exam room. Beverages with lids are okay.

  • We immediately notify the instructor if academic dishonesty is suspected.

  • No walk-in options available. Minimum 24 hour scheduling in advance for testing appointments.

Policy Violations

If a student:

  • Violates testing procedures
  • Engages in academic dishonesty

The matter will be handled under the university’s Academic Integrity procedures and course policies. The Instructor will be notified and an incident report will be filed with ORCA.
